A group of 3-4 Children has a teacher and an assistant teacher. Individualized education program are developed for each child and carried out in the group using motivational strategies and behavior modification principles. The programs include the following areas:

Inclusive Education Program

Main streaming now known as Inclusive Education

Our school is one of a kind as a special education provider. One of the area we are actively perusing is main streaming our children in regular schools. We are the pioneers in implementing the idea in Pakistan . None of the other schools are catering such services. As a part of our main streaming efforts we set attainable goals for our children and work towards achieving them. As a child progresses he is continually evaluated and his goals are renewed depending on his unique developmental challenges. When our team of professionals feel, the child is ready for a regular school setting we make the transition. The child is assisted throughout the process. Depending on the level of the child he / she is eased in a regular school setting on an hourly basis and then the time is gradually increased. Our program coordinator and the assistant program coordinators hold regular meetings with the teachers at the regular school. This cohesive working helps in proper handling of the child. We are really blessed to be able to provide this opportunity to our children.

We started our inclusive education program previously called mainstreaming in 2003. We started it with our hearts full of hope and determination, we aspired for it to be a beacon in the dark for the special children and their parents anticipations to what future holds for their children. To begin with we targeted only one school and small group of children. But by 2005 we accelerated our efforts by focusing on awareness programs regarding special children and basic concept of mainstreaming. This really got us delightful response from the parents and more schools, who shared our values and philosophy. "All children have the right to grow up, loved and accepted in the society regardless of any disability they have".
The true spirit and definition of mainstreaming the first two Provision of regular school environment where special children are provided not only the opportunity to learn social skills, group cohesiveness, productive environment to facilitate incidental learning. Also aim at focusing on long-term goals of helping the child to become independent by making him achieve his academic goals. By incorporating the regular class syllabus with his special aids to help him progress and become productive and integral part of the society.

Our journey of struggle, ups / downs, joys and sorrow goes on but towards a promising future not shadowed by dark clouds of fearful anticipation of parents around what future holds for the child. Amin
